Research within the School reflects the dynamic, creative and technologically oriented character from the regions of design, communication, it and natural history illustration. Additionally, we take advantage of working over the disciplines with techniques which allow more complicated methods to larger regions of study and exercise, for example multimedia.
The Hunter Center for Creative Industries and Technologies are located in the School. With the activities from the Hunter Creative Industries and Technology center the College of Newcastle supplies a gateway for business and industry to gain access to expertise the Center provides using the goal to promote creative innovation in the area.
These activities include a variety of individual and collaborative works for example report writing, impact studies, publication of books, sections, journal articles, conference contributions, technological improvements and inventive practice results.
