Barrier GABLES, Fla. (May 20, 2014) — A distinguished leader in contemporary architecture and urbanism continues to be named the brand new dean from the College of Miami School of Architecture. Rodolphe el-Khoury, who presently can serve as director of urban design in the College of Toronto’s Daniels Faculty and it is someone within the design firm Khoury Levit Fong, will join the College of Miami beginning This summer 1.

An instructional using more than 26 experience within the area, el-Khoury became a member of the school at John H. Daniels Faculty of Architecture, Landscape and style in 2005. Born in Beirut, Lebanon, el-Khoury found the love at the start of existence. Throughout his stellar career, he's trained at Harvard College, Durch, College of Hong Kong, Princeton College and Columbia College amongst others.

Like a partner in Khoury Levit Fong (KLF), his award-winning projects include Beirut Martyr’s Square (AIA Bay Area), Stratford Market Square (Boston Society of Architecture), and also the Shenzhen Museum of recent Art (AIA Cleveland). Lately KLF won worldwide competitions for any planning exhibition hall in Changzhi, China but for the revitalization of Copley Square in Boston.

El-Khoury received a doctoral degree in Philosophy along with a Master of Arts in Architectural History from Princeton College, in addition to a Master of Science in Architecture Studies from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Durch), along with a bachelor’s degree in Architecture and Fine Arts from Rhode Island School of Design.
